The Google phone is going to be out within a week!? Can this be true? Well let’s hope it is true. The Google Phone is suggested to support a Linux-based Google OS and will feature 3G. The Google phone will support a wide variety of extras not seen on a mobile phone before, from maps to social-networking features to video-sharing. The Google-powered phone will feature applications like Google Maps that are already in some handsets. If all this is true, then Google might have a little gem in their hands. I guess we will see in the next few weeks.
The word from Nokia is that the Nokia N81 8GB has been shipped and will be available globally in the next few days. According to sources, the price is around €430 for the 8GB variant. That is roughly about £299 in the UK.
