BlackBerry Torch 9810 (otherwise known as the BlackBerry Torch 2), has been officially announced today. The BlackBerry 9810 comes powered by BlackBerry OS 7, with enhanced multitasking, a new web browser, NFC support, support for augmented reality apps, and voice-activated universal search.
The Touch 9810 will feature the impressive 1.2GHz processor, which is the same processor that is packed inside the BlackBerry Bold 9900. It's also powered by a 3.2-inch capacitive Touchscreen. Like its older brother, the Blackberry Touch 9810 also features a slide-out keypad, which is wrapped within the mobile phone's new and stylish silver-coloured casing.
The RIM device will also feature a 5 mega-pixel rear-facing camera with added 720p HD video support; connectivity support included the usual HSDPA, Wi-Fi, and integrated GPS. The device supports up to 32GB of expandable memory - all of which should put a big smile on your face.
So you're looking to purchase the BlackBerry Torch on a UK Network? Well Three, Virgin and Vodafone have all confirmed that they'll be featuring the Smartphone. There isn't any confirmed pricing available yet, but we would guess that the handset will free at around the £300 per month mark.
