So we reported a few moments ago that the BlackBerry Torch 9810 has been officially announced, well now we can tell you that BlackBerry have also announced the BlackBerry Torch 9860, which is the sequel to the BlackBerry Storm 2. What a great day for BlackBerry fans!
BlackBerry Torch 9860 was unveiled in the London press event this morning, and I have to say that this does look like a very nice Smartphone. Rumours for the some of the features seem to be true, as the BlackBerry Torch 9860 is an amazing 11.5mm in thickness, thinness! with an impressive 3.7-inch capacitive touch-panel Touchscreen. It also features a 1.2GHz processer, with of cause the latest BlackBerry operating system - BlackBerry OS 7.
The feature count doesn't stop there! The BlackBerry Torch 9860 boosts an 'enhanced' 5.0 mega-pixel rear-facing camera with 'superior image quality'. It also comes with full 720p HD video recording facilities, the usual HSDPA and WiFi connectivity, 4GB of memory, with the option to expand to 32GB via microSD card slot.
The Smartphone hasn't been confirmed on any of the UK networks as of yet, so there isn't any pricing available, but we'll keep you posted!
