I'm quite excited to say that the much anticipated HTC EVO 3D will be released in the UK at around July - according to HTC.
HTC EVO 3D is next generation 3D Mobile Phone from HTC. Its main attraction is its 4.3 inch glasses-free 3D display, which allows you to watch videos in 3D, without any glasses. The phone also boosts a dual 5.0 Megapixel camera, with the capability of capturing images in 3D.
The EVO 3D will be powered by the latest version HTC Sense - using Android's 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. For those that don't know much about HTC Sense, it's a very fancy powerful user interface developed by HTC. It offers users a fantastically slick user experience with its 3D menus and its array of 3D effects. I'm a Mac boy, so I'm a sucker for these slick interfaces!
This remarkable handset will be running the very impressive dual core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon processor. It has the obvious data connection options of WiFi and HSDPA, with the added support for DLNA. The Evo also has a WiFi Hotspot feature that allows the phone to double up as a bespoke WiFi hotspot for other WiFi products to connect to.
The President of HTC EMEA - Florian Seiche had this to say said: "Smartphones have revolutionised how people communicate and entertain themselves on the move. You can now carry your favourite films, music, photos and games in your pocket wherever you go. The HTC EVO 3D allows people to explore this new technology trend beyond the living room, enabling them to capture and share their lives with family and friends in amazing 3D."
I've made some inquiries about this device as we really want to get one in the office to play with. HTC have confirmed that the handset is expected to launch in the UK sometime in July.
