HTC have officially announced today the release of the HTC Rhyme, which was formally known as the HTC bliss. THe official release date is said to be october 2011.
The press shots of the handset show this Smartphone as a bit of a women-centric device, with the handset sporting a metallic purple casing, which isn't going to attract much attention from a lot of men. Also, the Smartphone comes bundled with a range of accessories, which includes a docking station, a “Charm cable” that glows when you receive a message, a sports armband, and a Bluetooth headset which matched the handset - It's all a bit girly!!
So what's new with the HTC Ryhme, well the mobile phone comes boosting a 3.7-inch touchscreen with 480 x 800 pixels, and the very stable Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) operating system. The phone also features HTC’s updated Sense 3.5 UI. According to HTC, this refreshed user interface helps you “make the phone your own”, and comes complete with a number of new wallpapers, customisable icons, a redesigned flip clock, and new and improved camera software including in-app photo editing and automatic Facebook uploads.
Multimedia wise the HTC Ryhme is not lacking. It boosts a 5.0 mega-pixel rear camera with an LED flash, there is also a front facing VGA camera, integrated GPS, and HSDPA and WiFi data connectivity options.
According to various sources, the HTC Ryhme should be released in Europe later this year, but there are no official UK release dates. We’re actually still waiting for an official press release from HTC, so more detail will follow soon!
