Nokia had a little surprise for us this week. They have confirmed the release of the new Nokia N9. The N9 is a very powerful Smartphone running the MeeGo operating system.
I must say that the Nokia N9 is a stunning handsets. The phone's design is fantastic! It features a super clear 3.9 inch AMOLED display, and it's going to be available in Black, Magenta and Cyan.
The Nokia N9 has been created using a piece polycarbonate for strength and durability. The unique polycarbonate body is also being pitched by Nokia as helping the internal antenna gain better reception, with improved signal - with fewer dropped calls. The Gorilla Glass surface protects that handset from scratches, which adds to the overall durability of the handset.

As for the specifications, the Nokia N9 boosts an 8.0 Megapixel integrated camera, with no other than Carl Zeiss optics, with a very interesting wide angle, and zoom lens apertures. For me, that's very interested. The camera also has HD Video recording capabilities, and there is also support for NFC technology. Nokia will be including the excellent Nokia OVI Maps, with the Nokia N9 boosting HSDPA and WiFi.
I'm very excited about this device. Both the hardware and software interests me. I really can't want to get my hands on one to take a closer look.
