Samsung have revealed it's latest smart device. The new Samsung Galaxy Note. It's still unclear as to what category the device falls in however, as its 5.3 inch body is neither small enough to be classed as a smartphone alone nor is it quite big enough to be classed as a tablet.

Protected by Gorilla glass, the capacitive display supports multi-touch input and also has an accelerometer for auto rotation. Inside there's a 1.4 GHz Dual-core processor running on Android (Gingerbread) 2.3. The Galaxy Note will come equipped with an 8 megapixel camera, the same as the Galaxy S2, as well as a front facing 2 megapixel camera for all your video calling antics.
Whilst the device is 5.3 inches, Samsung have managed to keep the the thickness and weight to the minimum. With the profile at only 9.65mm think and the weight is only 178g it's thin and light enough to fit in your pocket.
The Galaxy Note comes with a stylus called the S-Pen. This allows the user to hand write notes and memos and also highlight certain areas of images or words.
