In Barcelona, Sony Ericsson announced the new Sony Ericsson G700 mobile phone. The G700 is the first in Sony Ericsson new range of touch screen organisers. The Sony Ericsson G700 supports a 256K colour touch screen display with 240 x 320 pixels. The G700 is mainly focused on the business user, but with other features such as the HSDPA data speeds, a TFT QVGA colour screen, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, A-GPS, Java, MP3/AAC/MPEG4 player, Memory Stick Micro and TrackID music recognition, the Sony Ericsson looks to me to be a handset for consumers as well as business users.
The Sony Ericsson G700 is due to be released in the UK sometime in the summer.
