Sony Ericsson has announced two new handsets this week. The Sony Ericsson Txt Pro and Sony Ericsson Mix Walkman. The new handsets are feature phones, which will appeal to mainly teen agers and the younger side of the market. They are very cool and Cheap Mobile Phones.
Sony Ericsson Txt Pro
The Txt Pro features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. The handset weighs 100g, and features a 3-inch capacitive touchscreen with a 400x240 pixel resolution. The Txt Pro also boosts a 3.2 megapixel camera, FM Radio, headphone socket, Bluetooth, a micro-SD card slot and a few integrated apps (calendar, alarm clock and a video player).
The phone only supports 2G speeds, but it does include integrated Wi-Fi, plus the stock operating system has a set of corner shortcuts on the screen just like the Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini series.
Sony Ericsson Mix Walkman
The Sony Ericsson Mix Walkman is very similar to the Txt Pro, with all the features mentioned above, but with an added Walkman music player, SensMe and two new features - There is something called 'Zappin', which previews the chorus of the next song on your playlist, whilst the second feature mutes a song's vocals so you can use it as a pocket karaoke device!
The Mobile Phone is a little lighter at 88g, and this is due to the lack of QWERTY keyboard. Users can personalise the device by changing the colour of the band running around the edge of the handset.
Sony Ericsson says both phones will be released from Q3 this year. We'll try to keep you updated on network release dates.
