
The first of the Sony Ericsson smartphones with Android 2.3.4 has been announced and it’s called the Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V.
The new Sony Ericsson Neo V is basically just a revised version of the Xperia Neo. It comes with the latest version of Google’s mobile OS and the Android 2.3.4 will give the Neo V Google Talk, screen capture support and improved Facebook Inside Xperia support.
Not only do the two Xperia Neo handset shar a similar name, they also share the same dimensions a, 1GHz processor and 3.7 inch Reality Display. Unlike the Xperia Neo which features an 8 megapixel camera, the Xperia Neo V will only come with a 5 megapixel camera.
Other features which have been confirmed include a front facing videocall camera, GPS, HSDPA and WiFi connectivity and Sony Ericsson music player with TrackID.
When the Xperia Neo V is released, it will be available in White, Blue Gradient and Silver. The handset is set to be available from Q4. So, if you’re a Sony Ericsson fan, watch this space!!
