So it's that time of the year again, for thr greatest tennis event of the year! Wimbledon! I have to say that I love the event. Eating lots of strawberries and cream, and it's the only time of the year where I actually drink and like Pims! Don't ask me why :)
Last year I noticed in the Apple App store there was an official Wimbledon App available. I downloaded it and used it for the whole tournament. I was very impressed. If you're a tennis fan like me, then this is the next app you should be downloading. It gives you live scores from all of the courts, with all the details of the days 'order of play', both with regular updates thoughout the day. Keeping track of live scores is almost instant, so you wont be left too behide when your neighbors are cheering after Andy Murray hit's 3 aces in a row! lol
The official Wimbledon app also gives you video highlights from the tournament, pluss access three channels of radio commentary, including coverage of events on Centre Court and Court One. To top it all off, the app also gives you access to all official Twitter feeds of all of the major players. Follwoing Any Roddick is a must! :)
