There have been reports that Apple are planning on releasing an 8GB variant of it's famous Apple iPhone 4. There are also reports that it will be called the 'iPhone Nano', but i'm not sure if I quite believe the latter!
Reuters is reporting that Apple are posed to release the new variant in the next coming weeks, with their Cupertino’s Korean-based suppliers readying an 8GB flash drive for the iPhone 4 device. According various sources around the internet, the new iPhone 4 8GB phone will be priced at around the £120 mark.
Yuanta Securities analyst Bonnie Chang had this to say about the up and coming iPhone release:
"Apple may want to push into the emerging market segment where customers want to switch to low- to mid-end smartphones from high-end feature phones, which usually cost $150-200,"
In other Apple iPhone news, various sources are also reiterated Apple’s plans for a late-September iPhone 5 launch. The word is that the fifth generation iPhone will boost an almost identical appearance to the existing Apple iPhone 4, but with a larger touchscreen display, an 8.0 mega-pixel digital camera, and a much improved antenna – Well they had to fit that one in after all the problems with the iPhone 4 launch.
Other iPhone 5 specs include a much skinnier shell, a dual-core A5 processor, full 1080p HD video support, a built-in FM radio, and 64GB of built-in memory. It's going to be an exciting few weeks ahead of us.
