So we were told that the iPhone 5 would be released in September a few months ago, and then there were reports of an overheating A5 chip, which kind of made everyone think that the release would be delayed. Now we hear that the iPhone 5 will be launching on October 5th in Europe. This information has come from one of the European networks. If this is true, then it means that the iPhone will be released on 5th September in the USA, and a month wait for us in the UK!
It's always been the same with the way Apple release their products, so this news doesn't come to any surprise to us. The states always get the iPhone first, before the rest of the world. I just wish Apple would just release the device on the same day, all around the world!
So it looks like we're going to have to wait a month, and who is to say that there will be stock available in the UK once it's released. The other question is who actually wants to buy a first gen iPhone 5 after the poor release of the iPhone 4?
I think I might just wait until after Christmas!
