So there is some bad news for all you HTC Desire owners. The populare device will not feature the new Android 2.3 Gingerbread update. HTC have confirmed that the Desire doesn't have enough memory to run the new operating system.
This news comes after HTC promised that the Desire was going to feature Androids 2.3 Gingerbread update. My guess is that there are probably a number of upset HTC Desire owners out, Including me!
The recent news of this has already sparked alot of debate around the web. There are a lot of upset HTC Desire customers expressing their disapointment on HTC's Facebook page.
one user writes: "It's seriously reduced the chances of me getting another HTC. Well that and the randomly self-deleting text messages. The Desire was sold with not enough memory to start with which is why I have to spend time clearing caches and space all the time."
There is no supprise that HTC have also announced that the handset will be discontinued in a few weeks. I suspect sales will drop in the coming days. But more inportantly, what does this do for HTC's reputation?
