The HP TouchPad has finally landed in the UK, which is great news for all you webOS fans out there. The tablet is on sale now in most of the UK's top electronics retailers, which include Currys, PC World, Comet, Carphone Warehouse, and of course directly from HP.com.
If you're after this new tablet, then be prepared to shell out £399 for the 16GB model. If you're feeling more in a spending mood, and you want some extra storage, then you can grad yourself the 32GB model for £479.
The HP TouchPad is powered by HP's much hyped business-focussed webOS software. The new operating system might lack in the apps department, but what does delivert on is a very slick multitasking intuitive interface, with something that the Apple iPad 2 lacks, Adobe Flash support!

So the lack of apps might be putting you off, but the device does some with a number of exclusive apps, which include The Guardian, LastFM, Warner Bros and Sky News, with more "UK" apps due to be available in the new few weeks.
For those of you that aren't too familiar with this device, in short, the HP TouchPad boosts a 9.7-inch high-res screen, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, with a 1.3 mega-pixel front-facing camera, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, SMS and IM support, stereo speakers and Adobe Flash support.
