HTC have finally confirmed that the HTC EVO 3D will be delayed and released in September. There were reports yesterday that Vodafone were ready to ditch the HTC EVO 3D, and good indication of this was shown by Vodafone removing the EVO 3D from their coming soon page.
So the EVO 3D was supposed to be released this month, but the two month delay must have you thinking about the quality of the handset. We've not had one in the office yet to play with, which is very strange. I remain very sceptical about this handset.
The HTC EVO 3D is first Android HTC smartphone phone to feature 3D technology, and it's supposed to be competing with the LG Optimus 3D. The technology used in Mobile Phones is very similar to the tech used in the Nintendo 3DS, with the main selling point being the fact that you don't need to use 3D glasses to enjoy 3D content.
The HTC EVO 3D boosts a dual 5 mega-pixel camera, and a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. As I said earlier, the EVO 3D is a strong competitor against the very much anticipated LG Optimus 3D. Which one of these will come out on top?
