After the success of Nokia's first Windows based Nokia Smartphone, they are set to unleash the second in the Lumia range. There has been talk about the Nokia 710 for a few months now, but it seems that the Smartphone is now set to be release in the UK on 1st February this year.
This information does in fact come directly from Nokia, who have confirmed the release. So this isn't speculation floating around the internet, it's straight from the dogs mouth! Unfortunately, Nokia didn't give any information on pricing, but it is thought that the handset will retail for £225 Sim Free. At this price range, we expect to see deals for this handset to be free at £35 per month tariffs when it's released on the UK networks such as Orange and Three.
I had a play with the Nokia Lumia 800 few months ago, and I must say it is a very nice handset, and Windows does run nicely on the Smartphone. But, I still remain sceptical about just how competitive Windows can be with the likes of Android and iOS. For me, it's still at least a few years behind in terms of features and development community. But in saying this, they definitely have their tails ahead when it comes to style!

The Nokia Lumia 710 is cheaper variation to its older brother, but still packs a punch in terms of features. Of cause the phone will boost Windows Phone 7 software, but it also features a 3.7-inch Clear Black display, a 1.4GHz single-core processor, 5.0 mega-pixel HD camera, 8GB of memory, HSDPA, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS all wrapped up in a 12.5mm-thick plastic casing.
You'll either love it or hate it, but if you can't wait and you're eager to own a Lumia, then you can Compare Nokia Lumia 800 Deals right here at Mobile Venue.
