There's a new 7 inch Android tablet launching and it's designed by french clothes designer Pierre Cardin. Along with other clothes designers like Gucci and Prada, Pierre Cardin is crossing over to the world of technology.
The new tablet will be presented to you in a black gift box and comes with a leather case and a metallic Pierre Cardin logo. The tablet has been described as "perfectly sized to fit in the palm of your hand, yet practical enough for life on the go". Compared to other tablets on the market like the iPad, BlackBerry Playbook and Samsung Galaxy Tab, this is really deemed as a fashion accessory than a competitor for these big brands.
The Pierre Cardin PC-7006 runs on Android 2.2 and has 512MB of RAM. Unlike other tablets out there, if you want 3G connectivity, you'll have to buy an attachable dongle. It's comes with 4GB internal memory but can be expanded to 16GB with a MicroSD card and runs on a Samsung S5PVV210 Cortex A8 processor at 1GHz.
The Pierre Cardin PC-7006 will cost £275 and can be purchased directly from the Pierre Cardin website.
