The Samsung Galaxy R shows off its features in its debut hands-on video - Thanks to the guys at Sammy Hub, we're able to get a sneak preview of this "cheap" Galaxy S2 alternative phone. The video makes the phone look surprisingly much like it's big brother, but the differences becomes more noticeable when you see the that its 4.2-inch Super LCD screen isn't as good as the Galaxy S2's 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display.
The Samsung Galaxy R features the famous Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) operating system, and the superfast 1GHz dual-core processor. This has to be a sign of good things for this handset! The Galaxy R also boosts a 5 mega-pixel digital camera, with video recording capabilities - an amazing 720p HD video encoding engine! It also features a 1.3 mega-pixel front-facing camera, Bluetooth, FM Radio, HSDPA, WiFi and 8GB of internal storage, which can be extended to 32GB with the a microSD memory card.
There were rumours of the Galaxy R showing up on shelves in July this year, But Samsung have confirmed that the Galaxy R has not been confirmed for the UK Market as of yet! It's all a bit vague, but we'll let you know as soon as the date has been confirmed.
