Yesterday, the Samsung i780 was launched in London and looks like it's going to be a very smart piece of kit. The Samsung i780 boosts an impressive ray of features that include HSDPA Mobile Broadband, WiFi b/g and A-GPS. All this plus a full QWERTY keyboard to supplement its 2.55-inch touchscreen.
The Samsung i780 is based on the Mobile Windows 6 Pro OS for Smartphone. It has an optical joystick, allowing for 360’ navigation on menus, Internet and applications. It allows users to be connected at all times through HSDPA (up to 3.6Mbps) and 802.11b/g. It is equipped with A-GPS, while a full navigation package is also available.
Pricing and availability haven’t yet been announced, but we’re expecting the handset to be available in the UK in December.
