Orange is holding back a planned tariff update in a bid to outdo T-Mobile. Sources close to Orange are saying that they (Orange) will launch the new animal tariffs In March because T-Mobile is planning to refresh its Flext plans in February.

A source close to Orange said: 'Orange is planning to launch new tariffs in March but it's waiting to see what the new Flext deals are going to be like first because they were kicked by T-Mobile last year. They'll keep the animals, but they're going to rejig the minutes and texts offered.' Separately, it is also rumoured that Orange could debut a new animal 'character' as part of its tariff scheme.
