Travelling within the European Union? Then there is good news! Orange is launching a new data package that will give you a daily allowance for just £3 per day. The new package offers you 30MB of data for a 24 hour period. This is only charged if you use the data service within that 24 hour time-frame. According to Orange, a 30MB is more than adequate for just over 99% of their customers.
But it doesn't stop there! Orange is also offering a few other options. You can have a 30MB bundle, which can be used over a 30 day period for £15, 150 MB available for £50 and a massive 500MB package for £150. These packages can be purchased as a one-off bundle for the 30 day period required.
Liz Wynn who is the Orange Director of In Life had this to say about the new service:
"Travelling abroad is an exciting prospect for everyone and is now it is even easier than ever to stay connected to friends and family. Whether our customers want to upload their holiday snaps on Facebook or simply send an email sharing tales and adventures, many people consider internet access an integral part of any trip. For this very reason we are introducing the new daily roaming bundle and have already revised existing monthly and 30-day roaming bundles for the EU to help our pay monthly customers get the most out of their mobile internet while in Europe."
